Brightshadow Haven is a special place where no one ends up by accident. It's the digital (and future physical!) home of artist and wizard Hylan Cow. Here you will find all sorts of magic and creativity from Hylan and his collaborators.

From Hylan:

After many rough years and personal struggles, I've decided once again to begin pursuing a career in the arts. Although the seeds of Brightshadow Haven have sprouted and the first cotyledons are stretching their tiny leaves to the sun, there is still a long way to go and much work to do here to turn Brightshadow into the full-fledged sanctuary of healing love energy that it is meant to be. Please join me, Hylan Cow, on my journey as we build something beautiful together!

Roadmap for 2026:

Most importantly, getting that art flowing again! Fantasy and editorial photoshoots are going to be the bread and butter for content, and my camera is raring to go!
Opening the gift shop. Handmade chainmail jewelry, body jewelry, art pieces, and oddities/curiosities will be available for sale right here on the website, which will provide financial support to help Brightshadow Haven grow.
Music. Years ago I was constantly writing songs and making music, and I've decided to pick that up again. In 2026 I hope to release at least one professionally produced studio record, as well as posting more casual videos of at-home acoustic sessions.
Locating and acquiring a plot of land to begin manifesting the real-world Brightshadow Haven. The ultimate long term goal is to build a home and art space that will serve as home base for all of the hare-brained projects I lovingly and chaotically yeet myself into.

There are many, MANY, TOO MANY projects, ideas, and goals involved with Brightshadow, and I'll be posting about these as time goes by. I look forward to sharing love, happiness, and healing with each and every one of you. Check back often so that you can witness for yourself the growth and development of this strange, spooky, colorful, and untamed adventure!
